This monoclonal antibody recognizes human, rabbit and bovine Insulin Receptor (epitope unknown). This antibody has no effect on insulin binding to receptor, but it stimulates lipogenesis and lipolysis and activates receptor kinase. It may be used in immunoprecipi-tation to identify Insulin Receptor.
