Description:Summary: Species: | Hu | Applications: | WB, PEP-ELISA | Clonality: | Polyclonal | | Gene: | OXER1 | Purity: | Immunogen affinity purified | Host: | Goat | | Specificity: | 5-oxo-ETE GPCR | Publications: | Antibody has not yet been mentioned in a publication. | Details: Isotype: | IgG | Immunogen: | Synthetic peptide: GEVSLEKEGSSQG representing the C-Terminus of the human protein (residues 411-423), according to NP_683765. | Gene Symbol: OXER1 Entrez: | 165140 (Human) | Swiss Prot: | NP_683765. (Human) | Related Genes: | RHO, EGFR, MAPK1, ARRB1, ADRBK1, PIK3CG, MAPK3, AKT1, EPHB2, EGF, LPA, AGT, SRC, GRK, PKC, ADCY7, PTH, MAPK12, POMC, PIK3CB, PIK3CD, PTK2B, HSPG2, MBTPS1, PIK3CA, PSMC6, NR1I2, CCR5, SST, KNG1, CNR1, F2R, NTS, EPHA3, NPY, GRK5, CXCR4, ADRBK2, C5AR1, PKA | Background: 5-oxo-ETE is a potent stimulator of chemotaxis for eosinophils and neutrophils that mediate it's action via a putative G protein coupled receptor [GPCR]. The receptor is highly expressed on eosinophils and neutrophils, suggesting a key role in the inflammatory response and can also be detected in liver and kidney tissue. **Please note, this product is one of a range of Investigative Grade antibodies, made against targets that have limited or no commercial antibodies available to them and for which there are no data on the expression of the protein in the range of common cell lines and tissues available to us. These antibodies are affinity purified using their peptide immunogen and are known to give low background staining in a western blot. However no additional claims are made for their ability to recognise native protein in any application. Species: Applications: Uses: | This antibody is useful foe Peptide ELISA and Western Blot. Preliminary experiments gave an approx 37kDa band in human liver lysates after antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 45.8kDa according to NP_683765.1. The 37kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide. | Dilutions: | Peptide ELISA 1:32000, Western Blot 0.5?g/ml | Concentrations: | 0.5 mg/ml | Packaging: Buffer: | Tris saline containing [pH7.3] with 0.5% BSA | Storage: | Aliquot and store at -20C or -80C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles. | Preservative: | 0.02% Sodium Azide | Limitations: | This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Products are guaranteed for 6 months from date of receipt, except for peptides and proteins which are guaranteed for 3 months. | |
