Description:Summary: Species: | Hu | Applications: | IHC-P, IF, FACS | Clonality: | Monoclonal | | Gene: | RPSA | Purity: | Immunogen affinity purified | Host: | Mouse | | Specificity: | This partially inhibits the binding ofsoluble Laminin (Martignone S, et. al). | Publications: | Antibody has not yet been mentioned in a publication. | Details: Clone: | MLuC5 | Isotype: | IgM | Immunogen: | Small cell lung carcinoma N592 live cells. | Localization: | Cell membrane with some cytoplasmic. | Gene Symbol: RPSA Entrez: | 3921 (Human) | Related Genes: | LBP, CD14, NDUFA2, TNF, IL23A, MVP, ABCC1, IL12A, CDK5R1, FCN2, UPK3B, GCHFR, ABCB1, LDLR, IL6, IL10, MARCKSL1, GPR177, APOE, LRPAP1, TLR4, IL2, CDKN2A, IL4, PLAU, BPI, LPL, REG1A, MSH3, UBASH3B, MAPK1, MDM4, CDKN2D, TBC1D9, ABCG2, PGPEP1, SERPINE1, NFKB1, ING1, PRNP | Background: Laminin, one of the major glycoproteins of basement membrane, displays multiple biological activities which are mediated through its interaction with specific cell membrane receptors. Overexpression of laminin receptor is reportedly an independent prognostic factor in breast cancer and correlates with the dissemination of the tumor cells in bone marrow. Laminin receptor appears to play an important role in tumor invasion and metastasis. Species: Reactivity: | Cross-reacts with Human. Not yet tested in other species. | Applications: Uses: | IHC (formalin fixed paraffin): use for 30mins at RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues is improved by boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 mins followed by cooling for 20mins at RT. Optimal dilutions / concentrations should be determined by the end user. | Dilutions: | flow cytometry / FACS analysis , immunofluorescence , Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin 4 - 8ug/ml | Concentrations: | 0.2 mg/ml | Packaging: Buffer: | 10mM PBS, pH7.4, 0.2%BSA, | Storage: | Store at 4C. Do not freeze. | Preservative: | Sodium Azide | Limitations: | This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Products are guaranteed for 6 months from date of receipt, except for peptides and proteins which are guaranteed for 3 months. | |
