E-cadherin is a glycoprotein with an extracellular domain that interacts with other E-cadherin molecules on adjacent cells, thereby establishing adhesion between epithelial cells. Established as a tumor and metastasis suppressor, E-cadherin expression is frequently down-regulated or extinguished in malignancy which strongly correlates with poor prognosis (3-4). Mutations in E-cadherin are found in gastric, breast, colorectal, thyroid and ovarian cancer (5). Species: Reactivity: | Cross reacts with Human. Does not react in Rat and Mouse. | Applications: Uses: | Western blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation and Immunocytochemistry | Dilutions: | immunohistochemistry 1:500, immunoprecipitation 1:50, Western Blot 1:5000-1:200000, Immunocytochemistry 1:500 | Positive Controls: | 1 positive controls | Packaging: Buffer: | 50 mM Tris-Glycine (pH 7.4), 0.15 M NaCl, 40% Glycerol, and 0.05% BSA. | Storage: | Aliquot and store at -20C or -80C.
