Description:Summary: Species: | Hu | Applications: | WB, IP, IF | Clonality: | Monoclonal | | Gene: | E2F1 | Purity: | Immunogen affinity purified | Host: | Mouse | | Specificity: | This is specific for human E2F-1. | Publications: | Antibody has not yet been mentioned in a publication. | Details: Clone: | 18E10 | Isotype: | IgG1 Kappa | Immunogen: | Fusion protein containing the region encoding the DNA binding domain (amino acids 244-264) of E2F-1 expressed in E. coli | Gene Symbol: E2F1 Entrez: | 1869 (Human) | Related Genes: | ARID4A, CDKN1A, CDKN2A, TP53, CDK2, E2F4, RB1, CDK4, E2F3, E2F2, CCND1, TCEAL1, D4S234E, RBL1, MYC, RBL2, TFDP1, CCNA2, PCNA, RAB3GAP1, NOLC1, E2F5, PAK3, DCTN6, SSSCA1, IFI27, PSMD9, MDM2, SLC12A9, CDKN1B, BCL2, DHFR, CDC2, CASP3, TP73, SP1, ARHGAP24, NOL3, BAX, DAND5 | Background: Clone 1G10 recognizes E2F-1 that was identified as a cellular protein with DNA binding activity associated with the adenovirus E2 gene promoter. The original member of the E2F family of transcription factors, now consisting of five, was identified through its association with the retinoblastoma protein, which controls its activity. E2F-1 is cell cycle regulated with very low levels in early G1 then increasing levels as cells move from G1 to S with highest levels of protein at the G1/S boundary, which is consistent with its role in S-phase entry. Species: Reactivity: | NB 600-209 reacts with human E2F-1. Other species untested. | Applications: Uses: | NB 600-209 can be used for immunoblotting, immunofluorescence and immunoprecipitation. Suggested working dilutions: * Western Blot 1-5 ug/ml Immunofluorescence 1-5 ug/ml Immunoprecipitation 1-5 ug/ml *The investigator should determine the optimal working dilution for a specific application. | Dilutions: | immunofluorescence 1 to 5 ug/ml, immunoprecipitation 1 to 5 ug/ml, Western Blot 1 to 5 ug/ml, | Packaging: Buffer: | PBS [pH7.4] contains no preservative | Storage: | Aliquot and store at -20C or -80C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles. | Preservative: | No Preservative | Limitations: | This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Products are guaranteed for 6 months from date of receipt, except for peptides and proteins which are guaranteed for 3 months. | |
