NF-M is modified by glycosylation and phosphorylation. The NF-M protein shares a high degree of structural and sequence homology with the NF-L and NF-H subunits, especially in the coiled-coil core domain. NF-M and NF-H form flexible extensions linking the neurofilament proteins to each other and other cytoplasmic proteins. The NF-09 monoclonal antibody recognizes the highly conserved NF-M protein (phosphorylation and non-phosphorylated form) in all species. The NF-09 antibody has been reported to be useful for Western blotting, immunohistochemistry using formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissues, and immunofluorescence staining. Species: Reactivity: | Cross reacts with Chicken, Human, Mouse and Rat. | Applications: Uses: | This antibody is useful in Western Blot and Immunofluorescence | Dilutions: | immunofluorescence 1:1000, Western Blot 1:5,000 | Packaging: Storage: | Store at -20C.
