There are at least seven isoforms, beta, gamma, epsilon, sigma, zeta, tau and eta that have been identified in mammals. The 14-3-3 tau, a subtype of the 14-3-3 family of proteins, was found in T Cells, brain and testes. This 14-3-3 tau is upregulated in patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Species: Applications: Uses: | The antibody has been tested by ELISA and Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis is 1:1000-1:2000. | Dilutions: | ELISA , Western Blot 1:1000-1:2000 | Concentrations: | 1.0 mg/ml | Packaging: Buffer: | Liquid. In Phosphate-Buffered Saline (pH 7.4) | Storage: | Store at 4C short term. Aliquot and store at -20C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles. | Preservative: | 0.1% Sodium Azide | Limitations: | This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Products are guaranteed for 6 months from date of receipt, except for peptides and proteins which are guaranteed for 3 months. | |
