Specificity | The polyclonal antibody has an excellent staining pattern on routinely processed paraffin-embedded tissue sections. After prolonged fixation, the reactivity of the antibody can be further improved by pronase pretreatment of the tissue. The antibody has a wide specificity: surface antigens as well as hidden determinants, free and bound kappa chains are recognized. No reaction was obtained with lambda chains. In flow cytometry the antibody shows a good conformity with other well-known kappa antibodies. Antigen localization: membrane, cytoplasm, extracellular. | Application | Flow cytometry. Immunohistochemistry for frozen and paraffin sections: 1:50 - 1:100; 1 h at RT; Protease digestion with pronase or pepsin is optional. | |
