NF-H is the heavy or high molecular weight microfilament subunit and runs on SDS-PAGE gels in the range 180-220kDa, with some variation in different species. NF-H polyclonal antibody can be used to identify neurons and their processes in tissue sections and in tissue culture and the antibody can also be used to study microfilament accumulations seen in many neurological diseases, such as Lou Geri's disease or Alzheimer's disease. Species: Reactivity: | NB 300-135 reacts with human and NF-H from all other mammal tested to date. The antibody recognizes both phosphorylated and non-phosphorylated forms of NF-H. | Applications: Uses: | This antibody is useful for Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin, Immunohistochemistry-Frozen | Dilutions: | Western Blot 1/10000, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin 1/1000, Immunohistochemistry-Frozen 1/1000 | Packaging: Storage: | Store at 4C short term. Aliquot and store at -20C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles. | Preservative: | 0.05% Sodium Azide | Limitations: | This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis.
