This intracellular cylindrical filamentous structure is present in almost all eukaryotic cells. Microtubules function as structural and mobile elements in mitosis, intracellular transport, flagellar movement and in the cytoskeleton. Tubulin is a heterodimer which consists of alpha tubulin and beta tubulin. Species: Reactivity: | Cross-reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat, Xenopus laevis, Cow, Chicken, Gerbil, Guinea pig, Gerbil, and Pig. Expected to cross-react with Newt (100% identity with immunogen) due to sequence homology. Not yet tested in other species. | Applications: Uses: | This antibody can be used in Immunohistochemistry, Western Blot, and Immunoprecipitation. For Immunohistochemistry, staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. In Western Blot a 55 kDa band is seen. *Optimal dilutions should be determined by the end user. | Dilutions: | immunohistochemistry 1/200, immunoprecipitation , Western Blot , | Concentrations: | 0.2 mg/ml | Positive Controls: | 1 positive controls | Packaging: Buffer: | 10mM PBS [pH 7.4] with BSA | Storage: | Store at 4C. Do not freeze. | Preservative: | Sodium Azide | Limitations: | This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Products are guaranteed for 6 months from date of receipt, except for peptides and proteins which are guaranteed for 3 months. | |
