Format | State: Liquid purified Ig fraction. | ? | Purification: Protein G Affinity Chromatography. Then, the antibody fraction is peptide affinity purified in a 2-step procedure with control and phosphorylated peptides. The phospho-specific antibody is eluted with high and low pH buffers and neutralized immediately, followed by dialysis against PBS. | ? | Buffer System: PBS with 0.09% (W/V) Sodium Azide as preservative.
Specificity | This antibody detects 14-3-3E pSer58. Predicted to cross react with Mouse (100% Antigen Homology). | Add. information | Molecular weight: 29174 Da | Application | ELISA: 1/1,000. Western Blot: 1/100-1/500. Immunohistochemistry: 1/50-1/100. | Background | The 14-3-3 family of proteins mediate signal transduction by binding to phosphoserine-containing proteins. This highly conserved protein family is found in both plants and mammals, and this protein is 100% identical to the mouse ortholog. It interacts with CDC25 phosphatases, RAF1 and IRS1 proteins, suggesting its role in diverse biochemical activities related to signal transduction, such as cell division and regulation of insulin sensitivity. It has also been implicated in the pathogenesis of small cell lung cancer. | Caution | This product is for research use only. Not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. | Concentration | 0.25 mg/ml | Focuson | 116 Antibody Panel to Proteins of the 14-3-3 family (14-3-3 beta, 14-3-3 gamma, 14-3-3 epsilon, 14-3-3 zeta, 14-3-3 theta, 14-3-3 sigma, 14-3-3 eta)
