Specificity | This antibody recognises adenosine triphosphate (ATP) Binding cassette transporter 7 (ABCA7). |
Application | Flow Cytometry: 1/10. |
Background | The ABC transporters are a large family of conserved proteins that transport a wide variety of molecules across cellular membranes. ABCA7 is a member of the ABC-A sub-family, which is predominantly expressed in the thymus and in other immune and haematopoietic tissues. The exact physiological function of ABCA7 is unknown, although the molecule shows the highest homology to ABCA1 and may play a similar role in lipid homeostasis. |
