Format | State: Liquid purified Ig fraction. | ? | Purification: Protein G Affinity Chromatography. Then, the antibody fraction is peptide affinity purified in a 2-step procedure with control and phosphorylated peptides. The phospho-specific antibody is eluted with high and low pH buffers and neutralized immediately, followed by dialysis against PBS. | ? | Buffer System: PBS with 0.09% (W/V) Sodium Azide as preservative. | |
Specificity | This antibody detects ABL1 pTyr276. Predicted to cross react with Mouse (100% Antigen Homology). | Add. information | Molecular weight: 122873 Da | Application | ELISA: 1/1,000. Dot Blot: 1/500. Immunohistochemistry: 1/50-1/100. | Background | ABL1 is a cytoplasmic and nuclear protein tyrosine kinase that has been implicated in processes of cell differentiation, cell division, cell adhesion, and stress response. Activity of c-Abl protein is negatively regulated by its SH3 domain, and deletion of the SH3 domain turns ABL1 into an oncogene. The t(9;22) translocation results in the head-to-tail fusion of the BCR and ABL1 genes present in many cases of chronic myelogeneous leukemia. The DNA-binding activity of the ubiquitously expressed ABL1 tyrosine kinase is regulated by CDC2-mediated phosphorylation, suggesting a cell cycle function for ABL1. | Caution | This product is for research use only.
