Description:Summary: Species: | Mu, Hu | Applications: | IHC-P | Clonality: | Polyclonal | | Gene: | ABCB9 | Purity: | Immunogen affinity purified | Host: | Rabbit | | Details: Isotype: | IgG | Immunogen: | The epitope recognized by this antibody maps to a region between residue 475 and 525 of human ATP-binding cassette, sub-family B (MDR/TAP), member 9 using the numbering given in entry NP_062571.1 (GeneID 23457). | Gene Symbol: ABCB9 Entrez: | 23457 (Human) | | 56325 (Mouse) | Swiss Prot: | NP_062571.1 (Human) | Related Genes: | TAP1, TAP2, SEC14L2, SEC14L3, DHFR, ABCB8, ABCB6, MDM4, PADI1, NDUFA2, MED23, ABCA4, CD14, MSH3, ABCB10, PDIA2, ABCC9, P4HB, ABCC1, TRG, SGMS1, HSD17B4, PROC, CLEC5A, APC, ABCA1, ABCB4, ITGB2, ABCB1, ABCB7, ABCB11, ABCD1, SP1, ITGAM, ABCG8, ABCG5, ABCC6, HLA-E, LAMP1, PSG1 | Background: The membrane-associated protein encoded by this gene is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intra-cellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White). This protein is a member of the MDR/TAP subfamily. Members of the MDR/TAP subfamily are involved in multidrug resistance as well as antigen presentation. The function of this half-transporter has not yet been determined; however, this protein may play a role in lysosomes. Alternative splicing of this gene results in distinct isoforms which are likely to have different substrate specifications. [provided by RefSeq] Species: Applications: Uses: | This antibody is useful for immunohistochemistry on paraffin sections. Epitope exposure with citrate buffer is recommended to enhance staining. Likely to work with frozen sections. In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated. | Dilutions: | Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin 1:100-1:500, | Packaging: Buffer: | Tris-buffered Saline containing 0.1% BSA | Storage: | Store at 4C. Do not freeze. | Preservative: | 0.09% Sodium Azide | Limitations: | This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Products are guaranteed for 6 months from date of receipt, except for peptides and proteins which are guaranteed for 3 months. | |
