Adiponectin contains a modular structure comprising an N-terminal collagenous domain followed by a C-terminal globular domain(gAcrp30). Adiponectin plays a role in various physiological processes such as energy homeostasis and obesity. Plasma levels of adiponectin are reduced in obese humans, and decreased levels are associated with insulin resistance and hyperinsulinemia. Species: Applications: Uses: | The antibody has been tested by ELISA and Western blot analysis. Western blot is specific against globular domain of adiponectin. | Dilutions: | ELISA , Western Blot 1:250-1:1000 | Packaging: Buffer: | Liquid. In Phosphate-Buffered Saline (pH 7.4) | Storage: | Store at 4C short term. Aliquot and store at -20C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles. | Preservative: | 0.1% Sodium Azide | Limitations: | This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis.
