Specificity | SM2245R recognises murine CD120a, which is the 55kD tumour necrosis factor receptor, also known as TNFRI and TNFRSF1A. Clone 55R-286 does not block the interaction of CD120a with TNF alpha and does not inhibit the functional activity of CD120a. |
Application | Flow Cytometry: Use 10 ?l of neat-1/5 diluted antibody to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. |
Background | CD120a is expressed by a wide variety of cells including myeloid cells, activated T cells and activated B cells. The ligands for CD120a are tumour necrosis factor alpha (TNF alpha) and lymphotoxin alpha (LTA). Receptor cross-linking by ligands TNF alpha and LTA induces a variety of cellular functions including NFkB activation, apoptosis and cell differentiation. |
